"TV didn’t work in the room for the first two nights. Staff initially offered to move us to a new room but then retracted the offer and instead offered a key to a room with a tv until they could fix it the next day. Not a great solution."

"This is a great place to stay if wanting to explore the Royal Mile. Everything is within walking distance. The front desk is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but well furnished. Many pubs, cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. We took the airport bus to St Andrew’s stop then walked 5-10min to the hotel. It made transfers easy and affordable. "

"Everything was just perfect until last evening when some “private event” started in a restaurant- for several hours very loud music with walks and bed vibrating. At 12 am we were told it was going to end at 1 am… we had a trip at the next morning. It wasn’t even weekend- Thursday. For such amount of money paid I would expect decent condition for rest during the night."

"No issues with our stay here. It is in a convenient area and the staff were great. Only “complaint” is that it is quite small. Our room was pretty crammed and the lobby was often hard to navigate through when it got busy with tour groups. Didn’t really affect us though. "
