"What we liked: The apartment was in a residential area north of the busy tourist area of Madrid, but still within walking distance. There was a restaurant across the street (La Musa) where we had dinner one evening and breakfast one morning, and a great brunch spot at the end of the block (EatMyTrip), which was super convenient — we didn’t have to cook at all. "No instructions on how to use AC. Got hot in the middle of the night and I had to go online to figure it out. Also, very few amenities I expect to have in a VRBO, such as paper towels, etc. Place felt sterile. In 3 days, we ran out of toilet paper. There is a bar across the street below our windows, so sometimes was a bit noisy. Location was decent..close to a lot of restaurants and transportation."

"The apt is clean, comfortable, close to many landmark in Madrid, check-in easy, nice follow from staff. The only problem, the bedroom window is on the back street (De Loyola) on 5th floor but there is a restaurant with an outdoor terrasse that is quite noisy till midnight so if you are a light sleeper or early sleeper, it might be difficult to rest."

We will be back
"We have visited Madrid a few time before and also had dinner at the restaurant located in the hotel so this time decided to try the hotel and was not disappointed. We selected a room with a view of the Plaza and was very happy we paid the extra. The staff at reception are really friendly, the hotel style is perfect, room was large and very clean with an amazing view over the plaza. They have a roof top bar which has good vibes but not the best for views due to the high walls but a perfect sun trap. Highly recommend the breakfast and also the restaurant for dinner."
