Didn’t want to leave

When I walked in the room I couldn’t believe the kichen, king size bed with jet tube in it. Two Flat screen TV’s. When we saw the two swimming pools we were so excited. I can’ wait to go back when it is warmer. We saved money by being able to cook meals in the kitchen. Everything we needed to cook with was already there. The location was away from the main end of the strip . So we didn’t get stuck in alot of traffic. I forgot to mention the washer and dryer. Even though there were no slot machines we were in walking distance to be able to use one if we wanted to. My weekend was perfect. I’m ready to go back.

There is so much to see. You need at least 4 days for you to see the many sites. Two days is two short. If you have kids a place like the Grandview with the full kitchen would save you alot of money.

The hotel was fabulous. The rooms were comfortable and beautiful. Check-in and out were a breeze. Easy access to freeway. Would absolutely stay there again.

Out of the way place

The Grandview is great for spacious suites, pools, etc. Service was good except the hotel keys kept failing and it is quite a walk to check-in to have it corrected. It is a long way from the Strip and airport, $30-35 cab fare, but worth it if you don’t want to be right on the Strip. It would be nice if there were a close grocery store, which is probably being built in the near future, but hard to be comfortable there without a car. It is a great value for the size, features, etc (washer & dryer in the suites), but again, if being near the strip is important, it is too far away. There is an $8 shuttle that is fairly convenient to the strip. This would be a great extended-stay place.

Home away from home

The apartment like rooms are very convenient, I enjoyed making my own breakfast and having all the conveniences in the kitchen included was wonderful. The separate bedroom was great when I wanted one of us wanted to watch tv while the other napped. Everything in the room and the hotel grounds are meticously cleaned. Only had two issues: pillows were either mushy or too thick, it was hard to get comfortable. There was a constant noise coming from the ac unit, even though we didn’t run something’s running and can be heard all day and night. I’m sure it has to do with some central ventilation and I got used to it, but it would be nice to shut off whatever it is. Aside from that the location is very convenient from the strip having the freeway nearby and only 5 minutes up to the bustle and thus a good value.

Be aware that on Monday’s most of the shows are dark, which we were not aware.

Great Room for Great Price

Hotel is nice and the staff was very pleasant. Only downfall is you have to pay extra for housekeeping and Wi-fi.

dissapointed

The hotel was beautiful and affordable which is probably because nothing works in this hotel. I thought that i would be relaxing in the whirlpool in my room but it did not work neither did the television or the blow dryer. When I informed the front desk I was just blown of and told that someone will be up to take a look at it. I will not be staying there again.

We had fun!

My boyfriend and I stayed there for the halloween weekened. We didn’t have any problems with noise from the other neighbors since we are party goers and stayed out until 5 in the morning. By the time it was time for us to go to sleep our neighbors had probably left to go sight seeing. The kitchen is a full kitchen. it comes with cups, wine and bottle openers, plates, spoons.. etc. there is a washer and dryer and it comes with detergent. they have a safe avalible to use in your room. I guess the only withdraw is that the walls are kind of thin but if your drunk you wont notice.lol

This hotel is our new home away from home.

This Hotel is wonderful if your tring to get away from it all. The service is unbetable, the price is great, its just like bing at home. Our room had a view of the pool and the mountains in Las Vegas, it was away from the strip( 7 miles). but it was worth it, they had a shuttle to take you to the strip also. The Casino /hotel across the way South Point has everything that you could want on the strip. The rooms are very comfy. The only thing that I would change is the fact that they dont clean the rooms everyday like other hotels, and room service is not available. other then that this is our new home away from home.

good value for money

This hotel is representative of a time share asvertisement. It has the look of an appartment with kitchen seperate bedroom with TV and living room as pictured. The only draw back i could see is that local guest have far too many "guests" and the pool area can be overcrowded as is the parking. They rent the room and then at night crowd it with 8 or 10 people.

Been there twice and can’t wait to go again

When you book this place online they always have a great deals...My fiance and I have been there two times now and we have just loved it. The rooms are like apartments. The bathrooms are huge and the rest of the room is unbelieveable. Check in is kind of crazy sometimes but once you deal with that the rooms make up for that. Pool is out of control BIG and enough room...I love it...and i will go back

We will stay here again next time

Great hotel. Amazing room. Wish it was on the strip, but if it was, it would cost 10 times the amount we paid.

I felt "slimed" and want to warn others who read glowing reviews - LOWER YOUR EXPECTATIONS PLEASE

This is a timeshare project that probably ran out of money. Our unit in the Daisy Tower on the 3rd floor overlooked a garbage dump. TINY Bathroom sink like the kind at a gas station - where you have to hold the button down on the fawcett or no water comes out. No way to guarantee hot or cold water - had to use the kitchen sink to wash my face. Cheap particle board cabinets. NO shower pressure. Jacuzzi tub took 15 min to fill up - so if you are in a hurry or don’t want to share your husband’s bath water this could be a problem. No privacy between the bedroom and the living room and only ONE SINK AND ONE TOILET.The bed was comfortable but only after I put my own sheets on it - theirs are rough and scratchy. I used my own pillow as theirs are big foam pillows that you can’t sleep on. No response from housekeeping or front desk for a request for feather pillows. Thank goodness for the 2 plasma TV’s which you really need as there is NOTHING to do on this property - and people LINE UP to get the ONE SHUTTLE to the strip. If you get a really cheap rate at this place and want to cook your own meals and compare it to camping inside with a toilet (which has a very hard, uncomfortable seat) - then I can recommend it. If you want to be in a nice condo - don’t even consider this. Run, don’t walk to the Signature at the MGM or Trump or Palms Place .The good reviews for this place must be from the unfortunate people who actually bought timeshares and are trying to unload them.

Go to Morels restaurant in the Palazzo Hotel for lunch and order the Kobe burger. It is big enough for two people and the service and atmosphere are outstanding - best hamburger in Vegas.

Only place to stay!

We stay here every time we go to Vegas. We have never had a problem, rooms are huge, and clean. The hotel is 5m south of the strip, but if you have a car it is great. Lots of local restaraunts and shopping in the area. Wonderful experience.

There is a restaurant in the area of the hotel called "Just Real Food Off the Strip" I highly recommend it. Great food and fantastic service. Try the Beef Wellington it was the best I’ve ever had.

COMFORTABLE, SAFE, HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I just loved staying at Grandview. The grounds are well kept, the hotel buildings are new and kept up well. The rooms are just like staying in a really nice condo. Our bed was soooo comfortable. My only complaint is the bedroom window does not have the darkening curtain. The darkening curtain is in the livingroom. So the early morning light comes right in. I wish they would do something about that. Otherwise, it is a perfect stay and such a deal in Vegas. Will stay there again!

Can’t wait to go back

My stay at the Grandview in Las Vegas was wonderful! The rooms are beautiful and the service was excellent. The rooms are also very comfortable. It is not within walking distance of the strip (5 miles or more) so you need a car or some type of transportation. Even tho it is on Las Vegas Blvd., from the airport, it is in the opposite direction of the strip. It is across the street from South Pointe Casino where you have access to delicious, inexpensive late-nite meals. Transportation is offered to The Food 4 Less store so you can stock the fridge and prepare your own meals with the fully-equipped kitchen. Having a washer/dryer was great too. We are able to take only one suitcase. This is especially useful since the airlines charge for baggage.

Out of the way, but way worth it

This hotel was 7 miles south of the Strip but was a quick drive to where the action is. We had a suite with Jacuzzi tub and full kitchen with washer and dryer for an incredible price. We have stayed in many places in Las Vegas including the Bellagio and the Venetian and this was by far the best deal we have ever had. If you don’t mind driving a bit,I highly recommend this hotel.
