Very nice

I would highly recommend this hotel. The room was huge with walk-in closet. Everyone was very kind including the valet, restaurant staff, and housekeeping. I even forgot my something in my room and they promptly sent it to me.

Great Hotel

The room was great, the only issue is when we checked in the Hotel was over booked. Even though we had prepaid for a room with Expedia they would not honor the 2 queens that we had requested. After 35 to 40 minutes at the front desk, they got us the correct room. Once we got settled the room, pool and service was great.

honeymoon was fabulous

We stayed at three different resorts while on our honeymoon, and this was the best! We loved the food and ambiance at the hotel restaurant, and the poolside drinks were a good price. The soda with free refills is a great deal. The hugest bathtub we have ever seen in the room. The concierge was really great, too!

Vegas Dream off the strip

This was the ideal location if your looking to do Vegas but have children with you. The pool was very child friendly and the hotel staff made them feel welcome as well. A true 5 star gem.

Very beautiful, comfortable place. The gardens & pool area are a must see. Would definely return.

Really enjoyed our stay. Food, accommodations and service were outstanding. We only had 2 frustrations: firstly, (and this was a big one & may make us decide to stay at "Suncoast"),was that we found the hotel shuttle’s frequency, times to the strip, no shuttle "TO" the hotel from the airport and "fees" to take you to the airport" very inconvenient. Although Marriot is a much prettier hotel and costs more, "Suncoast Hotel" definetly outshines The Marriot in its shuttle service. We actually ended up spending a lot of time at Suncoast because we would walk over there to use their shuttle to the strip and end up lingering to gamble, drink and snack. Secondly, a dirty pair of undies and bleaching trays sat in our bathroom cupboards all week (not ours!!) suggests a more thorough room cleaning should be done b4 new guests come in.

Very Nice!

This hotel was wonderful. The room was big with lush bedding. Free valet parking and no wait for car. We won some money at the casino. This was a great way to end our Death Valley National Park vacation.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

We went to the Red Rock Reserve from this hotel and it was an easy trip with alot to see.

Best hotel in Sumerlin

This is the 4th time we have been at the JW and we would never go anywhere else! The most comfortable, well-sized, clean rooms - their bed linens and pillows are amazing!!! Great separation from the casino so the lobby isn’t smoke-filled...HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Excellent hotel

I was very impressed with the Marriott Las Vegas - rooms were large, beds very comfortable, bathroom was enormous with a large glassed-in shower and a hot tub. Food was fine throughout, though typical hotel fare. Staff was friendly and the concierge was fantastic. Loved the pool and the whirlpools, and got massages in the spa which were outstanding. Highly recommend this place!

LOVE IT!!! Best Hotel off the Strip!!!

I truly enjoy the JW Marriots, I’m now spoiled and will not go to another hotel. Style, service, cleaniness, EVERYTHING was Excellence. Thank you for recongizing our military, I am active military. Kathy

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Very nice upscale shopping and living area, I’m addicted to Ann Taylor. I went walking by myself while my boyfriend was sleeping. Many eateries to choose from.

Plush Hotel away from it all

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the JW Marriott. The check-in staff was very courteous and wished us a happy anniversary. The concierge left a little bit to be desired. Although they were ready to hand us a map, they were not so ready to offer added info about the surrounding area. The room was wonderful. The linens on the bed were divine. The bed was comfortable and our view was gorgeous. We could see the Nevada mountains from our balcony. Red Rock Canyon was only 10 minutes away. An added bonus for those who do not have time to travel to the Grand Canyon. The two person jetted tub was great to have especially after walking all day on the Vegas strip. The pool was beautiful. The landscape was lush and tropical and the waterfall made for a relaxing afternoon. Our light in the closet was out and it did take more than a day to get someone to come and fix it, but he was very nice and apologetic about taking so long. We liked that the hotel was 14 miles outside of the Vegas limits. It was much quieter than all the hustle of town. We also liked that the casino was at a separate entrance than where you check-in. No walking through a cloud of smoke to check-in. Overall it was a great experience and we actually said it was definitely a place we’d go back to someday.

Great hotel for families. It’s away from the obscenities of Vegas city life. Children would enjoy the pool with waterfall feature. Although it was fun, there wasn’t a waterslide or diving board for kids. The casino is on the other side of the hotel, & children really don’t have to be exposed to gambling. The buffet is good for families & has alot to choose from. Red Rock Canyon, which is 10 minutes away, would be great for kids to romp and it makes a good place to picnic for families.

Somewhat disappointing, especially front desk and room service.

Good property, suffers from below average food quality, mediocre front desk service (e.g. kept locking me out electronically by mistake--reaction was "oops sorry about that). Aqua Sulis spa staff was great. Better have a car, as their "shuttle" to the Strip is quite infrequent.

Great Hotel!

This hotel is very clean. We totally enjoyed our trip. Was there for New Years Eve and watched the fireworks on the strip from the top of parking garage. No maids were knocking on the door early to clean your room, which we totally appreciate. The rooms were large, our only complaint was that the queen beds were more like full size beds. So my husband and I felt like we were going to fall off. Free bottled water in cooler in room all the time. Quiet! In lobby there was hot apple cider available, which was tasty. Staff was great! We would stay here again.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

We didn’t go to Vegas to gamble. My daughter wanted to see all the lights. I bought a book for traveling there with family and we did a lot of the things close by. Valley of Fire was great and only 6 dollars a car to get in. We went to the Shelby Mustang Museum. Parked on the strip and saw all the free things that were available at the other hotel/casinos. Like lions, and tigers, water show, etc. There are lots of things to do in and around Vegas with your family.
