“Room didn't look clean.”

“Room was clean. Towels were fresh. Did the job of providing somewhere to sleep.”

“Only complaint: no grab bars in the bathroom & no railings by steps. Both of these things are very dangerous for mobility-impaired folks.”

“This was an older hotel, that was poorly taken cate of. Our door saw outside light. It was old and not a place I would stay again. The clerk was very plesant. It was near some restaurants, but nothing really great.”

“The Expedia description said breakfast is included, but, there is no breakfast. The manager simply said Super 8 motels haven't done breakfast in a long time. I wanted to tell him I stayed in a Super 8 only a few days early and it had breakfast, but didn't want to start an argument. But hey, there is a McDonalds across the street and you can grab breakfast there. The real reason I am ranking this 3 stars is one,there was a used wet towel in my room (hanging on the hook behind the bathroom……

“This is a traditional hunting & fishing lodge environment. Nothing fancy for sure, but it's clean and neat. Fine for a short term stay. No amenities. Half the price of the hotels closer to downtown.”

“Good: Nice area, easy to find, reasonably convenient location, helpful staff, great price, great parking, good diners nearby, good AC. BUT, room very musty, smelled of urine, very hot on arrival (AC off and window with holes in bent screen open), door jamb split as if it had previously been forced open, puddles in bathroom. I like simple, inexpensive, funky motels when I just need a place to sleep but this was smelly and seemed poorly maintained.”
