“We really enjoyed our stay with this local family in the Fao Fao fales. Beautiful beach out the front, nice rustic bar and dining area overlooking the water and reef. Seems like snorkling off beach would be good (we didnt get time to) and lots of attractions close by.”

“Shared bathroom facilities and cold showers only with no hook or shelf to hang anything. Great access to beach but limited options to do when weather is poor. Some games would be great. Lovely staff. Breakfast and dinner is included and changed up daily. Really enjoyed the food. Room basic but adequate. Main deck area dated and needs a clean.”

“The view and setting was great, and the beer and chips reasonably priced. The room was a concrete cell, with a lot of midges which were harmless. No free WiFi. Plumbing challenges mean mystery water splashes on the deck after upstairs flushes. On-property attractions like the river pools un-signposted so hard to find. No shampoo. Not terrible, but poor at the price point.”

“We had a nice stay in Jaymy beach Fales despite challenging weather conditions (but that’s the way it is).
The whole family was very kind and the food was generous and delicious.
Good to know: there is a small car rental within walking distance where it is possible to rent a car for some days or on a day-by-day basis.”

“Everything was fine, but I do have a small suggestion. The staff did not check the room during our five-day stay. We only needed bathroom tissues and towels to be replenished, and there was no telephone in the room to contact the caps or family.
Overall, my stay was pleasant, and I truly appreciated the peaceful and quiet environment—I loved it. This is just a suggestion for improvement, but overall, it was a very good experience.”
