"Pousada Costa Verde was a nice stay on Ilha Grande. It was very clean and well maintained (though this is because of very strict rules, so if you're intent is to party, this is not the spot for you). The manager is super nice and provides a lot of great advice based on your expectations of your trip. The pousada is off the beaten path and does not come with breakfast like other pousadas on the mainland do."

"We are a family of 4 and stayed one night at the hotel. The owner was very friendly and checked with us often to see if we needed anything. The best part about this hotel is that it is less that 5 minutes from the main pier and shopping areas. Access to tours and restaurants was easy. "The pousada was homey and comfortable. The colored bungalows made it feel a bit like a sleepaway camp and the home cooking made it feel like staying with a family. Great place if you're not looking for anything too upscale and are happy with mellow vibes. The grounds are beautifully kept and there's a nice, small pool. It's isolated on its' own more remote part of the island, but it's a short walk out to the dock to hop on a boat and explore the other wonders of Ilha Grande. "
