"We stayed in this hotel 5yrs ago when we came for the world rugby cup in 2019. We loved it so much that we came back again. There is nothing changed. Well, it's improved since, can I say. "Near train station which was nice. Is harder to find as it is inside of an overhang off the street. Once you find it its easy to navigate to as near main dinning and shopping area. I went during a slow time of year, but got a little street noise but not much. Good outlet and mini area for luggage. I had 3 bags (size of airplane carry on) and all fit under bed. "I really loved this retro hotel on top of the mountainside. I had the mysterious looking onsen all to myself several times around 9-10 pm and it was so cool.
