"Stay clear of this hotel. In the middle of nowhere, only thing nearby is what is apparently a swingers/sex club, didn’t feel very safe at all. No cold water, only boiling hot water out the taps morning and night, having to brush your teeth with that and unable to shower as temperature of water too hot even on ‘coldest’ setting. We were booked for 3 nights and left after the first night. No reception staff, everything is codes. It was 2star clean but really everything else was well below par,...

"Budget motel with small room, without much facilities at high price. Maybe it was Pfingsten! The single beds were quite small but maybe the standard in France. The window cannot be tilt, therefore it cannot be opened while keeping the room dark. It was so hot on the hallway like max heating was turned on. Also very warm in the bathroom although nothing was on. The shower cabin was very small."

"There were many children due to sports event. When it came to breakfast and everything was eaten and out of place the staff made sure we had at our own table everything possible. They were all great. There were three staff who were working so hard to keep up to the 20+more kids and still made time for us. We could not speak french they did there best talking to us and helping. Recomend for sure."

"We stayed for 3 nights in Sept 13. As always rooms in French hotels are basic and without tea making facilities. However the room was clean and the bed was very comfy. The food was pricey but excellent, all home made and it was obvious that a great deal of time had been spent in its preparation. The location is surrounded by good beaches and the area is good for cycling and walking. Many good cafes etc serving excellent sea food. We will certainly stay here again."

"The couple who runs the place are both very lovely people, incredibly kind and eager to make my stay enjoyable. I was in Le Pouliguen for a wedding, rather than personal vacation, and the limit of my French is 'I do not speak French'. "We used this hotel as a stop over on way home from holiday so did not need much but still felt disappointed as hotel is tired and room was very tardy. The rooms do not have air conditioning which is fine but absolutely no drinks or tea/coffee making facilities and when I asked for coffee downstairs we were charged even though we paid €80+ for stay."

Not much within walking distance except a Routier restaurant which was great and open in the evenings in the week. 4 course simple meal with wine and coffee for 12.40€!! Lots of other restaurants and a huge Leclerc in the Atlantis shopping centre 5 minutes car ride away."
