“The hotel itself was in a run down condition and needs a lot of money spent on it. My room, had windows into the atrium so my view was of stairs and walls. It also meant there was no airflow, and on this very hot summer, it made it difficult to sleep or be comfortable in any way. The lights in my bathroom did not work, which I mentioned to the staff, and the door self closing mechanism did not have a soft close function so that I was woken each day before 5 am by the slamming of doors.

“Didn't have a very good experience at the Golf Hotel & was really disappointed for the money paid.
Was given a twin room instead of a deluxe double room (which i'd paid more for). Had arranged for an early check-in with hotel for an extra £20 but this had been forgotten about. Tried to make conversation with the member of staff checking me in but got nothing back. Room had a lovely view of the green but curtains were hanging off rail. The bathroom had an awful smell to it & toilet didn't flush……
