"Our cabin stay at the cozy black bear retreat was FABULOUS! The cabin was spotless and well-stocked with everything we needed. K-cups, water, cozy bath robes and Roku TV. The host was quick to respond when I had the old code upon arrival. The views were breathtaking. She even had train maps and local restaurant menus. Can't wait to go back!"

"It was probably one of the worst experiences, the room was dirty and so was the bathroom. The room was cleaned as we were checking in and it had garbage from someone who had checked in previously which made us question if even the sheets had been changed. In addition, Tabetha (the innkeeper) was not very friendly and took more than half an hour to check us in. This was all for paying $170 a night. While we understand the rustic setting, it does not have to mean that the place has to be dirty....

Who’s this was so gracious and made it really feel like a home. We took advantage of the fire pit and the hot tub and really love those amenities. Also the wraparound porch was absolutely delightful and relaxing. I will definitely be back if I’m in the area again"
