“The staff were very friendly and helpful and helped us practice our Swahili. We ate dinner and breakfast at the in house restaurant which was delicious. Our room was great and had everything we needed. We were also able to park in the reserved hotel parking out the front and the security helped us with our bags too. We had a great stay here and will hopefully be back next time we visit Nakuru!”

“My wife and I stayed at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge for four nights in December 2025\. We loved every minute of it. The room was spacious and comfortable, the food was good (buffet style, full board) and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We are birders and saw many good species in the immediate vicinity of the lodge. Full-day or half-day 'game drives' are also an option.”

“Malgré l'accueil et la grande gentillesse du personnel, il y a 2 fausses notes : J'avais téléphoné 5 fois depuis Paris pour réserver un jeep pour faire un safari le lendemain. On a pas pris en considération ma demande J ai été obligée de rester jusqu'à minuit à la réception pour trouver une jeep. Et le lendemain matin, ce n'était pas une jeep qui est arrivée , mais un van ! Ensuite, la réception ne répond jamais au téléphone quand on appelle d une chambre Il faut se déplacer……

“The Manager Liz was brilliant. Sammy a member of their staff was simply great. The hotel has a lovely swimming pool and beautiful gardens. The rooms are clean and comfortable. “We enjoyed our stay at Sleepway Cottages, but we were without internet, that was advertised to be working, for 4 days which was a very scary time for our family back in the states who could not get in touch with us. Our stay would have been better if we had dependable internet and toilet seats on the commode. Also, we made the reservations for 5 people and when we arrived the rooms were not side by side but there was a room in between ours and our children which was a little scary.”
