“We wanted a home base instead of moving around from one hotel to another while we explored this part of Ireland. The Dingle Skellig hotel is in the perfect location if you do not want to be in the center of all the activity. It’s a short ten minute walk to town. After a long day it was wonderful to unwind away from the noise. We requested a sea view room and enjoyed having coffee as we watched the world wake up. Breakfast offered plenty of options, with peaceful views of the water and hotel……

“We thoroughly enjoyed out two night stay at Barrow Lodge from the minute we arrived to when we left. Clodagh is an exceptional hostess, giving us the warmest welcome, and really useful advice on where to go for food and what to see. The room was big, clean with a lovely view of the estuary. Breakfast was fabulous. We've been recommending it to everyone since we left as it's a little gem and we'd definitely go back. If you're in the area, stay here!”

“The breakfast was one of the best we had in Ireland. The staff was also extremely friendly. They were very knowledgeable about the area and very caring. My only suggestion would be to change the carpet out for a more sustainable floor such as vinyl wood flooring as some carpet had stains on it but that is hard to avoid on white carpet. Another thing would be to put a fresh coat of paint on the walls as well as this would freshen up the place also. Overall a very comfortable and safe place to……
