“The Oca hotel was ideally located for us as we had completed the El Camino two days prior and wanted to be a bit away from the busy part of Santiago but still with easy access to the train station and good restaurants. The staff could not have been more helpful and attentive. Breakfast was the best we have had in two weeks of traveling.”

“Just out of town but they do a free shuttle bus into the town. A cab is €10. We stayed in their apartments (opposite the main hotel) which gave you a small lounge, conservatory and then the bedroom and bathroom upstairs. It smelt a bit musty but we were there a few days and so it soon cleared. There was also a car parking space under the apartment. We never ate there but used the sun terrace and pool and had a night cap in the bar.”

“The location is magical and we are so lucky that we didn’t stay down town Santiago Compostella. You can hear the stream sounds from the room. Service was fantastic all around. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was superb. Food and service were excellent. Front desk staff were exemplary and easy to reach.
