“We stayed here for four nights during a longer trip to Costa Rica. It's very central in Tamarindo (it's a small town, so most things are "central"). Perhaps the most delightful part of our visit was the host Augustin. He was very helpful in orientating us in Tamarindo and recommending good businesses in the area and fun activities to pursue. Moreover, he was very accommodating in lending us little knicknacks from the hotel for daily use so we didn't have to go and buy things ourselves. He even……

“The property and villas were stunning! Staff was very knowledgeable and attentive. Everyone knew us by name! Loved having breakfast included with many delicious options. Having a stand alone villa was a treat. No noisy neighbors! We spent a couple mornings at the main pool and usually ended up in our plunge pool in the afternoons. The views from everywhere are amazing! Although we loved our Sunset Villa, it was warm in the late afternoon when trying to get ready for dinner. No way to block out……

“Exactly as expected. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again. Gabriela was extremely responsive to any questions and concerns. The area is close to many beaches by walking or a quick Uber ride. Amenities nearby and the vibe of surf side is truly a great experience.”

“The service was great. For the price that we paid I would have expected at least a view of the beach or a closer walk. Instead it was a 19 minute hike down a pretty steep hill with potholes. They also advertised a shuttle to the beach, when we asked for it the staff was not aware that that was offered on hotels.com. Once we showed them it was listed, they were happy to take us down to the beach. The pool was nice and the breakfast was good. We even saw some monkeys outside of the room. Overall……
