Olperer Huette, Zillertal Alps, Austria

Olperer Huette is a mountain cabin with a spectacular view of some 700 meters over Schlegeisspeicher dam lake. It is located in 2.388 meters altitude on the south side of Tuxer Kamm range which is parallel to the main Zillertal range on the border of Austria and Italy (in the picture it is the range in the background covered with low clouds). The hut offers some 70 beds to tourists who can access it either from the lake bellow or the neighbouring huts. Olperer hut was built in 1881 and it was totally reconstructed to its modern look in 2007. “The best customer service we had in Austria. Starting from check in and check out everyone was pleasant! Rooms were comfortable and clean. Anything we asked for they were all very accommodating. From reception, to massage, to the waitress and waiter.. everyone was amazing. Really made up for a horrible service from Vienna and Salzburg. We wish we had more time to stay at this resort. One bad thing I can say is that if you wake up before breakfast starts no one will help you in the dining room...

Olperer Huette, Zillertal Alps, Austria

Olperer Huette is a mountain cabin with a spectacular view of some 700 meters over Schlegeisspeicher dam lake. It is located in 2.388 meters altitude on the south side of Tuxer Kamm range which is parallel to the main Zillertal range on the border of Austria and Italy (in the picture it is the range in the background covered with low clouds). The hut offers some 70 beds to tourists who can access it either from the lake bellow or the neighbouring huts. Olperer hut was built in 1881 and it was totally reconstructed to its modern look in 2007.
