“Wonderful staff”

“Room and free food were a touch basic and 100% satisfactory (coffee, tea, water, milk; bread, packaged croissants, cheese, cold cuts, eggs, jams, cereal). Right on the mark for the price. Location is close to local grocery options, but a hearty walk to old town activity or the beach. I did the walk each day, but some may prefer a ride or bus.”

“There were ants in the bed. Got stinged 4 times. Also, you can hear any noise in the corridor, no soundproof at all. The shower is nice but licking.”

“What a great find. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room had its own large airy patio surrounded by plants. We had some of the best breakfasts we have ever had in a hotel- and in a lovely setting under the lemon tree!”

“Perfect spot to stay in the centre of São Bras de Alportel, with easy parking to then explore on foot. A range of restaurants and cafés, plus a local supermarket and Pingo Doce if you want to take a snack back to your room, to eat on your balcony. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Hotel is traditional, but has modern air con with a lift for all floors. The rooms are well kept and very clean, with a mini fridge and flat screen TV. Thank you Monica and the Breakfast chef for a lovely stay.”

“Rooms were clean but the property can use some renovation. The bathroom faucet was shaking. The hot water will come and go. The room is big. It’s a cute place with parking and the pool is nice. The staff at reception was great. The breakfast is good too. The staff attending breakfast can be more pleasant”
