A range of restaurants and cafés, plus a local supermarket and Pingo Doce if you want to take a snack back to your room, to eat on your balcony. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Hotel is traditional, but has modern air con with a lift for all floors. The rooms are well kept and very clean, with a mini fridge and flat screen TV. Thank you Monica and the Breakfast chef for a lovely stay.”

Breakfast is simple, but ok, however you have to bring your dishes to the kitchen yourself and put it in the dishwasher afterwards. If you want a fried egg, you have to prepare it yourself in a pan. Afterwards you have to clean the pan. All these things are not explained on the Expedia sites.
