Meine Freundin Corinne hat für uns zwei Zimmer für 4 Nächte im Guesthouse Magliaso gebucht. Wir waren leider beide in verschiedenen Gebäuden untergebracht und ich, im Zimmer 1 hätte ohne Corinne im Zimmer 7 keinen Zugang zum Gemeinschaftsraum und somit auch nicht zu Kaffee oder Kühlschrank gehabt . Auch hatte ich keinen TV im Zimmer und das alles zum gleichen Preis wie meine Freundin, was mich ziemlich irritiert hat!Vergeblich suchte ich auch nach einem Kleiderhaken hinter der Türe, das...

"Easily one of the best properties we have ever stayed at! A gorgeous example of adaptive reuse, with original 16th century convent ceilings and floors and beautiful award-winning decor throughout. The hotel is in a quaint hilltop village with private access to a castle and a winery a short hike away. The onsite restaurant is superb, with excellent food and staff. The front desk staff are also very kind and welcoming. Very comfortable bed and room with a very effective AC. You cannot go wrong...

"This incredible hilltop resort exceeded all expectations. The facility was top quality, the rooms were impeccable, and the staff was fantastic. The views were absolutely stunning, and the breakfast buffet was one of the best ever. We didn't want to leave! "
"What a wonderful hotel, beautiful room with large balcony and what a view. Everything is very clean, great shower and great staff. The restaurant for the evening meal was really really good! We even saw the eclipse from our balcony. Highly recommended! "
"We had a roof terrace room and it was a really lovely room. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The swimming pool was gorgeous. Free parking right outside. The town of caslano was beautiful, lovely circuit walk right from the hotel and we walked down to the historic centre at night to eat takeaway pizza at the side of the lake, as well as eating in the grotto opposite. Also you can hire a boat down by the lake which was a highlight. Not far to drive to Lugano or morcote or you can get the train easily. Loved it and would stay again!"
"We were only able to stay one night, but our night at the Vallombrosa vineyard was very peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and kind and were gracious to bring me some emergency supplies. Although the property lies in a beautiful setting, it’s important to note that it takes at least 30 minutes to get to Lugano and the lake by car. I also have a couple suggestions to make the room even better:
-Provide a properly functioning coffee machine (Ours only produced 1-2 tablespoons of coffee. Maybe it needed to be decalcified.)
- Place a mirror and trash bin in each bedroom"
"The location is beautiful, right by the lake and there is BBQ, garden, all cooking utensils etc! Probably need 2 more drinking mugs and we can’t find any ironing facilities! The shower room needs a shelf or cupboard to put things on but all in all, we are very happy and thank you for letting us stay! "
