“If you’re looking to reconnect with nature this property is right up your alley , but I must warn you there are some things that left me feeling disappointed. Under property information it states that they provide tour assistance when in reality all they provide is a car service and nothing else you have to do your homework on what’s to do in the area.We were also promised a to go breakfast but at check out there was nothing left for us. The rooms are comfortable but there is no fridge or……

“They just finished painting the pool edge...looks great. This is our 3 year at the Trapp Family Inn. The only thing that was different was it was warmer than usually in San Jose than in previous years. The rooms were definitely warmer, but we were glad we had ceiling fans. Service, Food, and hospitality were great. We'll be BACK!”

“I have stayed here several times, but it has changed over time. The restaurant has changed and now has a few craft beers, but the service was better before. There is some new venue close by that blasts music. I suppose that makes the hotel more convenient if you are going to that venue, but less pleasant if you are just looking to have an easy trip to/from the airport.”

Excellent self serve buffet breakfast with wide variety of hot and cold food options and even some cook to order items (eg. eggs cooked to order). Free social on Wednesday evenings with food and drinks. Very friendly and helpful staff. Large, beautiful rooms (no carpet!) with lovely mountain views, full sized fridge, and well designed bathroom.……
