“House was perfect. Great location,well stocked and very commodious. Communicated with the host. Russell responded quickly and was super helpful and accommodating. Will definitely be back! ”

“More difficult to get to since hwy. 58 closed at Damascus. Pretty drive taking the long way. Too bad the Virginia creeper trail closed, I was able to go down until the first washed out bridge at green cove. Enjoyed the quiet stay.”

“Everything was great! We never did manage to ride our bikes all the way up Vails Mill Rd., but was able to ride once we got closer to the top. Proximity to Creeper Trail was a bonus. The trip from Abingdon to Damascus is an awesome ride or just the ride to Alvarado Station and back is great. Ride in to town, look and shop and come back to the cabin and grill burgers. Burgers on a charcoal grill in the mountains taste better that you can ever imagine! As awesome trip in an awesome cabin. Life is...

“This is such a beautiful cabin. So rustic and secluded. Definitely recommend having four wheel drive to get to property, but other than that, it is perfect.”

“The best part for us was the quiet, privacy, and view that allowed us to relax. The cute cabin was clean and comfortable. There were plenty of linens and the kitchen was sufficiently stocked. The two porches had an amazing view. The walk down to the lake on the well-constructed stairs and landings to the dock was a hidden gem. We even caught some fish and would like to return again.”

Due to the cleanliness, you could not even tell that pets have stayed here. “We were celebrating our daughter’s 18th birthday with her friends and she is hitting the Appalachian Trail next year so she wanted to attend Trail Days. This cabin was a perfect place for both celebrating and getting much needed rest after a long day. My only suggestion is that you upgrade your pics because they do not do the cabin’s beauty justice. ”
