“Our family was celebrating our son’s college graduation. The house and location was perfect for some quiet R and R. Enjoyed the proximity to town and some artistic visits in the area.”

“We had a great time here. It’s close to Abingdon, Damascus, and the Creeper Trail. My wife went down and had a wonderful time kayaking on the water with her kayak. The kitchen had everything we needed and the Blackstone was a hit with the kids for multiple meals. Looking forward to returning!”

“One of the best places I've stayed with my family, hands down! My kids spent most of the day catching crawfish and lizards in the creek. We got close with one of the neighbors and it made the trip a million times better. Not only did i feel at home with my kids (hard for me), but i made lifelong memories with my family. The host is great and will help with everything they can”

“The best part for us was the quiet, privacy, and view that allowed us to relax. The cute cabin was clean and comfortable. There were plenty of linens and the kitchen was sufficiently stocked. The two porches had an amazing view. The walk down to the lake on the well-constructed stairs and landings to the dock was a hidden gem. We even caught some fish and would like to return again.”

“My husband and stayed here for our anniversary. Our experience was phenomenal. The cabin was private yet 5-10 minutes away from the grocery store and downtown west Jefferson. It rained the first 2 1/2 days of our trip and it didn’t matter it was still perfect. The hot tub gave a front row seat to the breathtaking views. This is definitely one of our favorite locations and will return. ”
