The breakfast was great, but the staff was terrific. It was my first time in Amsterdam (I was there alone) and the staff were very helpful with ideas for places to go for dinner (away from the touristy spots), best ways to get around the city and just sooo friendly.

The location was excellent - right off Dam square about an easy 8 minute walk from Central Station. The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. The floor in our room had a odd, rather steep slope between the sitting and sleeping areas that would be difficult for someone with mobility issues. The breakfast was very good and the staff was extremely helpful.
