“L'aspect extérieur du gîte est déjà très agréable mais l'intérieur a été aménagé avec beaucoup de goût. Un magnifique étage sous le toit du colombier où les poutres apparentes et l'aménagement en font un vrai refuge mais aussi un endroit propice pour rêver. L'étage intermédiaire et le rdc sont également très bien aménagés et, malgré un temps maussade, le gîte est un véritable cocon d'où on n'a pas envie de repartir. Environnement calme et une belle vue sur la campagne alentour. Accueil très……

“We spent four comfortable days in the lovely self-contained apartment above Carol and Philip’s home. The two bedrooms were well appointed with plenty of hangars in the closets, heating that we were able to adjust ourselves on a couple very cool nights, and views onto their beautiful garden. The shower room was separate from the WC, a great convenience, and the front sitting room had a TV, books to borrow, and lots of information flyers about Normandy. The very well-equipped kitchen had a kettle,……

“The cottage has everything you need and lies very close to the Avenue verte. Very nice for cycling for the untrained... Many things to see and or visit nearby or within an hour's drive by car. Very kind owners who really made us feel welcome. We are not in the habit of visiting the same holiday accomodation twice, but perhaps in this case we will make an exception.”

“Lieben Dank für die schöne Woche bei Christin. Wir könnten uns in der gemütlichen Unterkunft mit hübschem Garten super erholen und haben uns wirklich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Unser Sohn war vom guten Internet begeistert, wir von der freundlichen Art der Gastgeberin. Unbedingt den Baguetteautomaten im Dorf ausprobieren. Das Brot ist wirklich lecker. ;)”

“Really enjoyed our two nights here - Dorothee and family have a gem of a property in their garden. We loved the parking and private access via the bridge running over the river Vienne passing by the side of the property. Well placed for visiting the coast - Veulle Les Roses a lovely village and well worth a visit. Just over 2 hours from Calais so useful to break a journey.”

“Nous garderons un joli souvenir de cette grande et belle longère au milieu de la verdure. Les pièces y sont spacieuses, les chambres bien aménagées, les lits, confortables et... avec 4 salles de bain contiguës aux chambres, chacun.e a pu prendre ses aises ! La météo un peu pluvieuse ne nous a pas empêchés de profiter du bon air (de la mer qui n'est qu'à 30 min du gîte) et des extérieurs. Sans oublier l'accueil sympathique de notre hôte :)”

“The stay was nice, view from the property is wonderful and it's very quiet and relaxing. The interior is very outdated and the minimum necessities in the house are provided. If the weather is bad and you're there with 10 people, there is not enough room in the living room to have dinner or to just relax and hang out. On the positive side, there are plenty of beds and there's plenty of room to sleep for 10 people.”

“Wir haben eine wunderbare Zeit als Familie dort verbracht. Unsere Gastgeber waren warmherzige und wunderbar sympathische Menschen. Die umgebaute Scheune war ein toller Ort mit riesigem Garten und Grundstück. Auch die Hofkatze Minou freute sich sehr über Gäste und unsere Kinder freuten sich täglich über den Besuch der Katze😃. Bettwäsche, Handtücher und auch Strom (10kwh frei )gegen Gebühr. Vielen Dank für diesen schönen Aufenthalt!”

“Arrived late, no issues checking in. Parking is great in a quiet location. Room clean and no noise during the night. ”

“Delightful Hotel in a delightful location...just yards from the Cathedral. Lovely room and lovely Hotel....great service at front desk and the Bar/Restaurant. Parking available,but not too easy to get to.The Hotel will give a code to make the bollards vanish...and enable you to access their car park.”
