My grandson and I drove from PA to attend the race. Upon arriving, the staff was very kind and friendly. They suggested a place for lunch and our check in was a breeze. The breakfast selection was great. We will stay here again next year.

Best Western Premier Richmond City Gateway is located just off of I-95 a few miles south of downtown Richmond in an industrial area that includes a sprawling Philip Morris complex and a large Amazon warehouse. I found the hotel and its grounds to be fairly clean and well kept. The staff was friendly in my limited interactions with employees. The complimentary breakfast was decent. My room was clean. The room was relatively spacious and had a mini fridge as well as a microwave. Options for walking in the vicinity of the hotel are fairly limited due to the industrial nature of the neighborhood. I was not sure what to expect when I booked my stay at this property, but I was positively impressed. I would likely stay here again the next time I pass through Central Virginia. Thank you very much to the hotel owners and staff for keeping things clean!

I was just traveling through and had to make a stop for the night This was a good spot to pull over and spend the night The staff was great, I arrived late and they did not mind. Close on and off the highway and a great clean place with a very wonderful staff.
