Check in and everything was easy. Kathyrn was a delight! She was so friendly and full of info. Loved listening to her stories and talking abiut family. First time ever staying at and B&B and it was such a great experience! Breakfast made fresh which was very delicious. The room was nice and we were in control of our room temp and having private bathroom was a plus, The reason why we've never stayed in one B&B

The property looks just like the photos... a home full of memories! All the antiques and décor make you feel like you've stepped into a simpler time but with all the modern conveniences. I wanted to take my tub home. It was deep, the water hot, and my husband loved the shower! the owners were just the nicest, most charming & accommodating hosts. Had I mentioned my dairy sensitivities earlier in the stay... my husband would have been missed some decadent breakfast potatoes. I can only end this by saying, this will NOT be the last time I/we enjoy this lovely B&B!!!

Amazing breakfast! Clean. Safe. Friendly owners.
We traveled through Alaska for two weeks and stayed in seven different hotels based on the location of our activities. Deal’s was one of our favorite places. Everything was extremely clean and well-appointed. We arrived very late in the evening from Denali and had to leave very early in the morning to drive to Seward. The Deal’s did not mind our schedule at all. They were very accommodating. The breakfast Kathryn and Leonard prepared was out of this world!!! The elegant set up made us feel like royalty, but at the same time, like longtime family friends. The hot meal, fresh fruit, breads, and myriad of beverages got us off to a great start. It was the best of all the places we stayed! The house had several entrances and different levels inside. Had the weather been nicer, it would have been great to sit out and relax in their backyard. The location was residential and felt very safe. We didn’t stay long enough to see the nearby area, but it looked like you could easily walk and explore.

The owners were nice, the wife was very friendly and helpful and the husband was more quiet. Our room was okay, it had a mini fridge, tv, desk, couch, coffee table. There were a LOT of lights lol like, many different types of lights all over the room & bathroom. It made us laugh because it was a little strange, but convenient if you need a whole lot of light for some reason. Bathroom was very dated, it looked like the shower used to be a double shower with a shower head on each end, but one end was broken and the fixture was missing. There was a door in the bathroom leading to the backyard. There was a weird little door in the closet that I think went to a storage space? And there was a door in the room that led to the garage which was kind of odd. Parking was a little odd too. There’s a horseshoe driveway and we were asked to park in it as there wasn’t a parking space for us. The driveway is slim, so it was a little bit of a concern that others would have issues going through the driveway with our car parked there. But it ended up being fine I guess. Top linens on the bed seemed a bit dingy and there was a weird substance/stain on the couch or couch pillow. I don’t remember which. It was an okay stay, but I probably wouldn’t book it again.
