One of the main positives of this place is the bellmen and the porters. Great team and nice people. As we arrived early, the staff at the front desk was not very attentive or sympathetic. However, when we returned, the person who then attended to us was very helpful and assisted us and our needs. The venue itself is quite dated. The air conditioning was temperamental so it would be hot and cold throughout the night. The location itself is near trains and throughout the night the train horns can be heard and does disrupt. The windows were not of high enough quality to block the noise. Plenty of places to eat and buy souvenirs around (which was great) and the Mall nearby helped. Having a pool was great, but both spa and sauna were not working. Considering how much was charged, I was really underwhelmed by the state of this Hilton.

Directed me to a pay lot to park until I checked in, when I could then move to their lot, which I was paying for. Lot was full, so they told me to just park on the street, but be sure to move your car before 8 am. No valet service. Bellhops were busy goofing around. Hallway was dirty. Drain in tub was rusted open. Strobing LED bulbs in the lamps

Had booking receipt but Hilton said they did not have our reservation. Hilton staff said, oh you must have booked at another Hilton location but we are showing her our reservation with hotels address where we were. Staff was completely rude and not helpful.

Outdated property. Air conditioning was out during a warm spell, and windows designed to open, did not. Property seems literally weathered and neglected. Location is close to good brew pubs and restaurants, and light shopping. Great views of Anchorage harbor, and a short walk to the train station.

The place is in great location all the shopping and dining locations were in walking distance. Aswell the mall the staff of the hotel were super helpful and convenient. Food and bar location at the hotel were super good. Definitely recommend and would definitely come back in future stay at Hilton Anchorage.

The room A/C did not work and it was 77.5 degrees. Very uncomfortable for sleeping. The bathroom cabinets were unsightly with scratches and no refrigerator in the room. $300 a night for this stay was unacceptable.

Hilton Anchorage needs a refresh. Not what is expected from an Hilton property. Area around the hotel is a little sketchy, empty building across the street, front entrance is worn, rooms were dark and not updated. We had an issue with toilet not flushing- ugh. But, staff took care of it quickly. The lobby had a group of men playing cards at a table, drinking beer the evening we checked in-not a good look. Front desk staff and security guard were very nice. The hotel is walking distance to some good restaurants, but we would not go back.
