The room was small, smelled like smoke, outdated, no complimentary waters or breakfast, toilet didn’t flush properly, and the gift shop was weird. Bed was comfy.

Nice hotel in a walkable downtown location convenient to the Alaska Railway. Breakfast and dinner were both terrific. Room was comfortable and clean. Some construction at entry but not disturbing.

Hotel and roomd was clean and free of street walkers. Staff were very friendly. Room was small. No microwave, no refrigerator. Breakfast buffet is overpriced.

The Hilton was a nice property, but like all hotels in Anchorage, was overpriced. We also stayed a Hotel Captain Cook later in our visit and that hotel, comparably priced, was a much nicer facility. It did not help that the entrance was under construction when we arrived. Room was adequate, but nothing special. View was very nice, however.

When the construction ends it will be amazing…that’s the only downside. The hotel is clean and light, great location, friendly staff , gym and indoor pool are pretty close to what you hope for and better than most.
