Lovely hotel close to the beach.Posted Oct 5, 2015
Pros: The staff, meals, view and comfortable accommodations.
Cons: Ceiling fans in the dining area.
Location: BEACH - fabulous beach on site with all the water activities available. Some shopping 10 min. walk away.
We enjoyed everything about Cocos Hotel. The staff was friendly and very ready to meet one's needs. The meals were delicious and beautifully presented. Our room was comfortable and had a fantastic view of the Caribbean. We look forward to our next visit.

Beautiful quirky rooms, with a view.Posted Sep 14, 2015
A collection of challets on a hilly outcrop pushing into the ocean. You do need to be able to walk up the winding paths to your room, so you need to be at least a little bit fit. Around the challets are plants and tropical flowers, visited by lots of small birds and humming birds. There are also mongoose, and take some cat biscuits for the 4 local cats. The staff are the most friendly and helpful I have ever met. Take lots of US dollars in small denominations, so you can buy bits from the local vendors and shown your appreciation to the staff. Cash machine nearby gives ec dollars and large denominations. Change is hard to come by.

Lovely position over a sandy day with clear watersPosted Aug 30, 2015
Had a one week stay during which two tropical storms came through! The staff were great keeping us informed whilst continuing to provide great food and service. Yes the property is on a steep hillside but take it steadily and it helps to burn off some of the pounds that you are bound to put on! We would definitely return.

Amazing Honeymoon!Posted Aug 10, 2015
Pros: Rooms, Beach, Food and Friendly Staff.
Cons: Live music over dinner was provided one night but ended very early. Back ground music over dinner and nightly entertainment would be a nice touch.
Location: Great location. Boat cruise around the whole island, snorkeling, kayaking, visited local festival carnival, rented jetskiis and saw Shirley Heights.
This is a great boutique resort with an amazing staff, food and incredible views. The staff made our honeymoon unforgettable as they upgraded us to the best suite in the house with the plunge pool overlooking the ocean for our last 3 nights of our trip. The staff took us out to Carnival (local festival) and showed us a true authentic Antigua experience. They were fun, professional and made us feel very safe and welcome. The food was well presented and they provided many options every day with daily specials. The portions were a decent size and they provided 3 courses for most meals. They were also accommodating with providing more food if necessary. The rooms are very unique to the island. They are cottage style rooms that wrap around the bluff of jolly harbor with spectacular views of the ocean. The balcony had great chairs and a hammock for relaxing and enjoying the view. Our cottage had an outdoor shower which was a great touch to the experience. The rooms are well equipped with cold AC, stocked fridge with beer, coke, water, juices and snacks that were always replenished. Our upgraded room for the last 3 nights had an amazing plunge pool on the edge of the bluff looking out to the ocean and mountains in the backdrop making our honeymoon complete! The beach front is well equipped with many loungers and umbrellas. The beach bar is open all day with Akil who's service was spectacular. The beach is large and the water was very clear. Everything the pictures portray!

Beautiful hotel near the beachPosted Jul 25, 2015
The staff, food and drinks were wonderful. The only issue is I attract bugs so I suggest if you're like me bring bug spray to prevent bug bites.

Stunning viewsPosted Jul 24, 2015
We came here for our honeymoon and had a great time! The views were absolutely stunning and the hotel staff were great! The two drawbacks were the food was low quality and although the staff were super sweet and friendly, they were not proactive. A lot of our issues were not resolved but we overlooked them because of their sweet personalities.

This is the Hotel to recharge your mind and spiritPosted Jul 18, 2015
Pros: Simplicity, location, food, service, very private
Cons: nothing, will be back without hesitate for a second.
Location: Best location, nothing to do besides a local boat trip (this is this place for, do nothing) ! GREAT!
For a world travelers who enjoy the simplicity of the best places and find the "real" virtue of the places and people, I have not doubt this is one of the best hotels ever visited. This is the place to go and do nothing but love your companion, recharge your spirit and body with the view of the world beauty. Laid on the beach for a total relax, no music, not TV, not noise, no shopping, not kids (love all) but not for this trip. The hotel was truly amazing! Beautiful individual simple cabins overlooking the best view ever. The staff made us feel like home, friendly and on top off all your needs without the nuisance of the big box hotels.

Great place to relax.Posted Jul 12, 2015
Pros: Everything! The food, location, amenities, and especially the attentive staff. Add the quiet, laid back feel and you have the perfect spot to unwind.
Cons: A chair with a reading light is needed in the cottages. We met the owner and he said he is aware of this and is working on this as we write.
Location: You can get jet skis, paddle boards, and kayaks there as well as sign up for any number of tours and day trips.
From the moment we were greeted at reception until the moment we left, the staff was the most attentive we have experienced in a long time. There are NO BUFFETS at this all inclusive getaway. You order from the menu, and the food was great and portions just right. If you have a special need/request you just ask and they will bend over backwards to try and accommodate your request. Andrea at reception was an absolute pleasure to meet. Be warned, this Hotel is on a hillside and reaching your private cottage is not for the faint of heart. Having said that, the views will be worth it. The beach is great and has shade available if you want it. Beautiful pool just off the beach and a well stocked beach bar help complete the items needed to make the perfect day complete.
