This is NOT a good stay! And the service even worse. Clearly at one point this was a vibrant bustling hub, when we stayey it was an absolute Ghost town.
I was emailed to check in online, a bumpy process to say the leaset. After wasting 20 minutes on it I was told just to check in at the hotel. I saw 2 staff members for the duration of the stay, one told me to pay fo parking, the other told me it was free. I didnt take the chance and paid the overpriced parking, despite the underground parking looking like a scene from COD.
The corridore on the way to the room had torn wall canvasses. The room itself had dirty carpets, cracked tiles in the bathroom, sticky handprints on the remote and the tv, brackets hanging where soap dispensers used to live once upon a time, one bed with a broken leg and another with missing slats and 2 sweets belonging to the previous occupent on the floor.
I didnt use the restaurant so cant comment.
I did offer the hotel the opportunity to address my issues, they responded with
This ticket has been closed.
Take from that what you will but after 3 weeks and 2 reminders I havent heard a peep.
Aberdeen has far better to offer than this place!
