“I have stayed at well over a dozen motels, hotels, lodges, resorts over my time in the Catskills. This was by far one of my favorites and is almost certainly going to become my regular resting spot. The location is premium, with it located in the heart of the Catskills, and not far from most attractions and hikes. The bar itself serves great food and drinks, and Sean and the staff are a delight to speak to. The room is clean, well maintained, and the cleaning staff do a great job each day. Most……

“The hotel itself is nice. The swimming pool and jacuzzis are good amenty addition. They were very useful after a full day of activity in the mountain. The rooms are big and and lots of space. I was just dissapointed upon check in. We booked 2 adults and 2 kids. The room was set for 2 adults only. Since we drove from city, we came late night. I expected that everything was set. But to my surprise, the bed was not ser. We have to set the sofa bed ourselves and we found dirty towels and linens……

“There was nobody in the office when we arrived to check us in. Somebody came over about five or 10 minutes later to the office. We were given a key and that was it. We had to call later to find out what the Wi-Fi code was and no one answered and they finally emailed us half an hour later with the code. Our room was never cleaned and we were there two nights. The property is a bit shabby and neglected. Would not recommend it.”

“The host was lovely however I regret to say that the place was filthy. The cluttered kitchen had a layer of grime on everything, all the dishes and pots and pans looked dirty, the garbage pail in the kitchen hadn't been emptied, the box holding the paper towels was dusty and full of crumbs, and the tea kettle was so grungy that I didn't even want to touch it. The water in the bathroom sinks smelled like sulphur. The downstairs toilet was so noisy and running all night that it kept me up most……
