“The room had a musty odor. We were in one of two occupied rooms, so it was very quiet except for road noise. The outside could use some sweeping to get rid of cobwebs around the windows and door. To be fair, the owner’s son has his hands full running the place and working his own job while the owners recuperate from an accident. The son was quite nice and he provided a good continental type breakfast. The location was good for us.”

“The room was difficult to use. The bathroom was difficult to use. Even getting a cup of coffee in the morning was difficult. The room was large, but missing a luggage rack to put a suitcase. The alcove area near the door looked empty-missing a coffee maker and microwave perhaps? A hanging lamp hung over a missing table. It was low enough for me to hit it (5'1"). We couldn't figure out how to use the remote for the heater/a/c.
The bathroom vanity had zero counter space and no shelves to place……

“Winwood is an excellent choice if you’re looking to explore the Catskills! It is located just up the road from amazing restaurants and shops in Windham. The staff is amazing. There are so many amenities for adults and kids. 10/10 recommendation!”

“We had a wedding in the area and this place was perfect for our needs. There’s a bar to the front of the property, which was fun to hang out and play pool. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean.”

“Beautiful old home, clean, very comfortable bed, nice breakfast. The only downside was a shared bathroom with 3 rooms. Expedia didn't show that, we wouldn't have booked it if we knew. Very nice host.”
