A coastal street lined with houses and buildings, with cars parked along the road and a view of the water in the distance.

Tolovana Inn

Tolovana Inn

10/10 Excellent
"This hotel made it so easy to relax and be present to the ocean breezes and amazing views of the Pacific coast. Disability parking is available and an elevator as your in addition to very safe staircases. The proximity to a wonderful local grocery store made it super easy to have fresh local fruit, vegetables, wines, and beers. The beach held many discoveries for my 4 year old grand son who kept searching for “beach money” (sand dollars) and shells. Haystack Rock education is a wonderful addition to learning about sea life, puffins, tidal information, and all sort of natural science!"

"Motel was clean and reasonably priced. Retro decor was fun. The staff were helpful and happily offered suggestions for food and fun. It is within walking distance of the Bridgeport Bistro which is one of the best places to eat in Astoria. If you are looking for something more than fruit and pastries for breakfast, there is a Pig and Pancake restaurant right next door. You do have to be careful crossing the busy street to get to the Piers."

"The Front staff /mangers were great , they work so hard doing everything! They stored our bikes, they cleaned rooms, they used their own phone to help us get our bikes locked up when they were away from the desk. The rooms are way too hot. I think they may need AC as the climate warms up, sooner than later! They building is old and you can hear everything above you. No insulation in the walls and floors it seems - so hard to sleep. The food situation next door use to be great! It was way too expensive for hardly any food. Why not serve toast when you pay for eggs for breakfast. I had "fruit and yogurt w/granola". I got 3 tiny slices of an apple and jam. Jam is not fruit. It is summer, this is when fruit is in season! Please be more generous."
