"The room was clean, the lighting was a bit dim in our room. In addition, there were some lights out in our bathroom. We did love that there was fresh coffee in the lobby. Our check-in went super smooth. Everyone we interacted with at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The lobby is such a vibe. I especially enjoyed the young lady with the dark hair who talked to me about the elk and gave us restaurant suggestions. Loved this location. We hope and pray to be back!"

"The Front staff /mangers were great , they work so hard doing everything! They stored our bikes, they cleaned rooms, they used their own phone to help us get our bikes locked up when they were away from the desk. The rooms are way too hot. I think they may need AC as the climate warms up, sooner than later! They building is old and you can hear everything above you. No insulation in the walls and floors it seems - so hard to sleep. The food situation next door use to be great! It was way too expensive for hardly any food. Why not serve toast when you pay for eggs for breakfast. I had "fruit and yogurt w/granola". I got 3 tiny slices of an apple and jam. Jam is not fruit. It is summer, this is when fruit is in season! Please be more generous."

"Don't mean to gush and usually don't but they exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean, the people were friendly/downright cheerful. Breakfast was good with a wide selecton and the Chowder at 5 was excellent. Good view and convinient. Excellent property and people. Good parking. There is a great walking path between the hotel and the waterfront. Very Quiet for sleeping other than the occaisonal aidcar run on the road a ways away."
