It is a perfect hotel when passing through Athens. There is a tiny elevator to get your suitcase up to your room. Great location for restaurants and shopping.

Very quaint property in the best location of Athens. From amazing restaurants to a magnificent view of the acropolis especially at night. The rooms are tiny but everything you need. Staff were always pleasant and eager to help with luggage or recommendations. Would definitely recommend!!

This hotel from 1935, whispers of the past. Amenities few within the clean room with AC . It offers an amazing view of the Acropolis along with the bustle of the area. In the center of shopping, dining and historical sites. The morning receptionist was polite and approachable for information.

Friendly, helpful staff. Room was clean, nice breakfast on rooftop where we had a beautiful view. Steep winding stairs to be aware of. There is a tiny elevator, after a short stairway.

We stayed 2 nights at the Metropolis Hotel and it exceeded our expectations. We booked a room with a view of the Acropolis, which also had a tiny balcony. The room was spacious and clean, and had a mini fridge which was a bonus for us. The roof top breakfast area also had amazing views and was really special to sit up there in the evenings. The staff was amazing, giving us recommendations, as well as organizing a taxi to pick us and take us to the airport at 3:45am. We would stay again, and highly recommend, especially for those on a budget.

Great little hotel. The very best part is the location. Central to everything. The rooms are small but clean. The staff are very helpful. There is a nice little breakfast setup on the rooftop patio. Amazing view of the Parthenon and the Acropolis. I would highly recommend unless you need something fancy.

The property was very clean and the staff was friendly. The location was great for walking to the Plaka and Acropolis. There was a fair amount of street noise which didn't bother us but might bother a light sleeper.

The staff were excellent. Location perfect. Room was very clean. The entire property is just so so as it felt more like a hostel atmosphere. It was fine for one night. Again location you couldn’t beat. But it was far from the Athens airport; took 1 hour, due to the extreme traffic and that was leaving the hotel at 11am on a Saturday morning. Saturday and Sunday are less traffic apparently.

Excellent location, clean hotel, and courteous staff overall, with one disappointing exception. An older staff member was extremely disrespectful when I explained that breakfast was included in our reservation. He rudely told us not to come to him with “that nonsense” and insisted we pay for breakfast. His attitude was completely unacceptable and negatively affected our experience.

Centrally located. The air conditioning worked perfectly and the room was clean and well serviced. It is s tiny elevator, but works well, although the elevator does not go to the roof top terrace. The stairs at the front entrance were difficult for my husband, but all in all, we really liked the hotel
