“Beautiful location and excellent base to explore the area. The house was great for a group of 5 of us for two nights. We were out a lot as it was good weather. Smooth and easy check in. The house has three bathrooms including showers which is useful. One shower very hot though so we couldn’t use. There was also only enough sofa space for four people. “Great location and central to everything we wanted to see in South West Central Ireland, from Dublin to Cahir to Waterford to Roscrea and Trim, all easily accessible. The home is spectacular! Old school house beautifully updated to everything one could ask for! Modern and updated facilities within rustic home - absolutely charming. And the hosts were perfect! “Visiting family for Easter with 8 of us. House was spacious and well equipped. Needed for nothing and good supermarkets nearby. Nice quiet estate. Communication was perfect. Only fault I would give was front driveway could do with a pressure wash.Thanks for the stay, we would definitely book again. ”

“This is a quiet group of cottages set around an old house near the village of Donard. It is of a very high standard with modern facilities and plenty of space; the owner is charming and informative. Very easy to get to Dublin: 40 mins to the Luas stop. Rewarding visits within an hour: Glendalough, Russborough, Wicklow Mountains etc. Donard has two lively bars and a shop; Blessington has a lot of shops. Roads are excellent - though very few cars - and it's 1:45 easy driving from Rosslare.……

“The property was large, with many rooms and bes options. Some good, some not so comfortable. The house had plenty of space for a multigenerational family, though it's a drive from Dublin, but close enough to the red Luas line to use the park and ride. The house is in need of a deep clean and some updates. ”

“I have to preface this with an *. I had booked the gardener's cottage but there was some sort of booking mishap and the cottage was double booked. To their credit they gave me a room in the main house which was very nice. It was technically an up-grade and there was no charge. I would have like the solitude of the cottage, but I am not upset as I had a lovely time. You should most definitely get dinner. The food was exceptional.
