I was in for a conference at Emory. It was close enough that I was able to walk each day that it was nice outside. Beautiful area and peaceful. The place is just as described in the listing. Would 100% stay again
I stayed at this property while visiting CDC for work. This is a cute little cottage in a lovely neighborhood, with shops, Emory and CDC not too far away. I had some issues at check out related to being given a pet cleaning charge despite not having a pet with me (was travelling from overseas). This required escalation to get resolved but the outcome was satisfactory.
Clean, small cottage behind the “main house”. Driveway a little difficult to navigate with multiple cars. My first night it was very cold outside, thus also cold in the cottage as there’s no central A/C. Ended up buying a space heater. After that, was a good enough space for me and my dogs just visiting family in town so we were only really there to sleep.
Location is great. Unit is basically cinder painted cinder blocks and small. AC unit spewed out black moldy debris and the lack of good ventilation made it very stuffy and smelly. Definitely not executive class and host doesn’t provide any extras like travel toiletries and shower had no caddy to put soap and shampoo on so had to get creative. Felt like glamping as no full kitchen. But it met the need and the location is good as you can walk to Emory Village but too far to walk to Emory Hospital.

Emory Studio
The Studio was a great find. I needed a place for the summer in Atlanta, and it was perfect for one person. It was a little hot at times, but that comes with the summer heat in Atlanta, but the fan they provided was excellent! Definitely recommend it for a person who is looking a for a small place in Atlanta for an extended period of time.
The place is neither fit for an executive stay nor a suite. It’s one room in a brick back-house. Main house on property is not occupied. Took over a week for host to supply a blanket and household basics like a roll of towels. No Beth supplies I suppose the bucket and mop leaning in corner of main living area was to be the reminder that cleaning is on you. Host was generous supplying me with 1, previously used roll of toilet paper for a 17 day stay. There was no outside trash can until I complained. Unit is infested with ants and another b&b resident in a basement unit had my security code in his possession. Better to stay at a Motel 6. Or sleep in your car.

Terrible!! It is a detached garage with no inssulation and with a bed that needs to be replaced
We spend the worse 7 days. Very uncomfortable sleeping due to a completely bend bed, lack of proper heating, together with strong bang sounds that came from the ceiling. We had to wait more than two hours for a handyman to repair the only hanger. Insufficient towels and no blankets and dirty and old area carpets, so we had no choice but to buy our own. We spoke to a couple of people regarding the place conditions, but were told they did not have a authority to make a decision. We took pictures wherever we could and had to stay in the place because we could no afford to make the additional expense. I can assure you that I would not recommend anyone to stay in this place. Which is more, I would never imagine how a company like VRBO would provide such a poor quality service and ruin someone vacations.
Perfect place for my husband and I to stay while visiting our son.

Needs alot of work
The part that went well, and this is important, was that we did not have to work to hard to get a full refund! The electrical system is unsafe. The 4 electric space heaters that make up the heating system trip the circuit breakers. The circuit breakers are located 10 feet above the floor and above the ceiling and there is no ladder. We had no lights and no heat on a 20 degree night . After that terrible night, the manager offered us some other apartment 17 miles from this one! This unit should be taken off of the list until the electrical service is upgraded. Even then it will only be worth 35.00 per night for these reasons. There is only one chair. THe table is about to fall apart. The closet shelf thing pulled out of the wall. Sitting on the bed caused the frame to pull apart. There is low light in the unit even when the electrical is working. The manage was helpful but never seemed to understand the electrical system itself is unsafe. Vrbo and Home Away should not list such places.

Just what we needed
The property was beautiful. We stayed in the small back house which was basic and just what we needed. The bed is more like a fold out couch which we had some struggles with collapsing a little, but we figured it out. Everything was clean, access was easy, and there was great parking. Located very close to major areas of town. Would stay here again.
