“The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The check-in was quick and easy. The only complaint I have is that the water in the shower didn't get very hot and there was a constant hum from some kind of machine right beside our room that made it difficult to rest.”

“This is the place we stay at when visiting family in Bells, Tx. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We only shower and stay the night, so it fit our need and budget. 3 of us stayed this trip. The beds were comfortable. We couldn’t use the lamp that had extra plugs in the base and we could have used it for all the cells we had to charge. We didn’t have toilet paper, but we always carry when we travel. There was 2 sets of towels for the 3 of us, but only 2 of us had showered. I’m sure……

“The online pictures of the room do not match the pictures I have of a dirty room that I was charged 84 dollars for. I have several pictures for proof of that. Black mold in the bathroom, dirty and stained bath tub. Broken and rusted door hinges on bathroom door. Dirty and stained walls. Front door had a gap that allowed outside light light into the room. No smoke detector only the wires hanging loose where one should be. The furniture was used and dirty with a burn whole in one of the seats. The……

“Carpet beetles along all the edges of the room. I took photos and showed the front desk, the staff said they were common after the rain. That's the ONLY bad part about the room. Drinks in the bar downstairs were very pricey but delicious.”

“Terrible. Walked into the bathroom and saw holes in the door and wall that were plugged with toilet paper. The ceiling was in terrible shape in the bathroom as well. Left and found a different place to stay.”

“Hotel had a mold smell , room had a smell bathroom looked like they painted over mold the air in the room did not get cold no matter what you did . The hallway was colder than the room . Breakfast was cold for food that is suppose to be hot .The bed in the room was pasts its due date .. straight worn out pillow cases had stains in them . I don’t recommend.”

“I have sometimes stayed at La Quinta...as a budget traveler, I always considered it "high end" when I wanted to splurge, but recent stays in general found properties slipping. I believe industry standards have fallen since COVID, at least for lower end chains. But this room was SPOTLESS! As was the entire facility and the breakfast was great. Truly, it was like a five star hotel clean. I so appreciate cleanliness nowadays as I find the properties that I can afford getting more and more……
