The blinds, if you can call them that, offer no privacy. There are no curtains or any other type of blind to close. You are able to see into theentite sleeping/living area from the street. This also means any lights in the main house illuminate the casita. Simply adding blackout blind or a simple curtain within the boho theme would work. The place was stocked well with towels, paper towels and toilet paper! It even had foil and storage bags! Kitchen could have been stocked better! No bowls for cereal, no can opener or colander! No dishwasher! ! Instructions for the oven! I didn't know how to operate it and the instructions were not adequate! It didn't have a microwave unless the oven was a combination of a convection oven and microwave, but i don't think so! Communication was good! I had an issue with the thermostat and a leaking sink and a repair technician was sent over promptly to handle the problem' . The bed was very comfortable and the furniture was beautiful! I was irritated that the plumber just unlocked the door and came in without knocking and i wasnt notified that he was on his way over! Parking was basically on the street ! I couldn't always park on the driveway since other tenants didn't pull up enough to allow another car to park at the top of the driveway! The washer and dryer was an added bonus. It was nice being able to wash clothes before I left for home ! But i would stay again! Great little apartment in a great central and safe neighborhood in Austin!
