“We had a lovely stay at Pan Haus during our Halstatt trip. The bed and breakfast is run by a warm and friendly couple and our room faced the beautiful hills. The location is very convenient, close to the bus stop and train. This was our first experience with a WhatsApp check-in and code entry, which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast is reasonably priced and freshly prepared. It’s simple but delicious, and the owner is always happy to chat with you. There are a few restaurants and a bakery……

“We stayed one night to visit Halstatt. The lady that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and functional. Delicious breakfast. We had a car and the free parking was a two minute walk. There’s a pizzeria next door for dining options. The beds were comfortable and the AC was a great bonus. Thank you”

“The hotel room was spacious with balcony, with view of the forest. However, there was no hot water for showering on the night we arrived. It was at 8:30 pm, so I went to the reception desk since the letter that we were given during check in earlier that night stated that the front desk was staffed till 9:00 pm. There was nobody there. We called their service number and spoke with the lady owner who said that they would send their "colleague" who lived in the building that night. Nobody……
