“At first glance the room seemed ok, but once we began settling in I noticed multiple issues. Bathroom had a roach on the floor, paint was not covering all areas of walls, and toilet bowl was not fully cleaned. The a/c was not cooling properly the first night. We smelled cigarette smoke so strongly—possibly from the walls due to the room being so warm. Our second night my husband actually pulled the filter and cleaned the most disgusting black debris. It cooled much better, but still struggled……
