“The property on Lake Michigan was exactly what I expected from the online photos. It was a beautiful place to relax on the beach and enjoy the sunshine.The bonfire pit was a great addition for us to enjoy. The cottage was clean and gave a perfect amount of space for the size of my family. We are definitely going to come back next summer!”

“We vacationed on Kangaroo Lake every summer for 20 years at another place— East Shorewood Cottages. We loved it, but it was summer only and the cottages are small. It was wonderful to revive memories of a beloved lake in this wonderful house, large enough for our adult children and partners. We had some WiFi issues, but Ryan was super responsive. Highly recommend.”

“This was our second time staying at The Hideway. We love the privacy and setting. The cottage is comfortable and perfect for making food, relaxing and heading a short distance into town. The owner’s responded quickly to our questions.The WiFi is very spotty making it a challenge to watch the TV or go online but that is part of the getaway charm.”
