“Gorgeous flat, quiet, really comfortable, fantastic set up with everything you need in the kitchen, clean, and even a couple of croissants left for breakfast. The bed was comfy, the room was dark and a blackbird very gently woke us up at a reasonable time in the morning. At the end of the road are loads of decent eateries as well as a lovely pub with excellent bar staff. There's on street parking outside, free overnight to 9am, and then £6.50 for 4 hours. I think you likely have to move……

“I'm only giving it 3 stars because the accommodation was not how I understood it to be. The accommodation is clean and modern and the host very welcoming.Due to the wording in the description, I thought I was staying in an apartment within a townhouse that consisted of the bedroom, 2 bathrooms (one of which was not en-suite so was shared among us), kitchen, balcony and parking.The description of the host being a welcoming family with a dog, I thought was the simply part of the hosts profile.……

“Wonderful apartment, perfect place for trains and walkable businesses. We stayed for a week and the only thing I would suggest is an extra sweater for the thin windows. ”

“Had a wonderful stay at The Beach House. The hosts Carol and Simon were very friendly and welcoming, giving some excellent pointers to nearby attractions and food options. The space itself was beautiful, well-equipped and just what we needed for a relaxing time away. Waking up to see the sea through the window and balcony was just stunning. Very easy to find, convenient parking and all-round wonderful stay. Can’t wait to come back again.”

“Room was very cold ( plastic curtains over large patio door ) water was lukewarm, toilet cistern ran all night . Only 4 UHT milk and one earl grey tea bag !!Charged for parking in The Burford Car Park Area to right of room block on grass was covered in dogs mess !!Shocking place ”

“Totally and completely misrepresented by this listing. Both sofa beds are broken and cannot be used as beds. The host was slow to respond and did not offer any solutions in terms of getting a cot or air bed in, despite our booking being for a party of 3. The listing says it can sleep six which is an outright lie. There were holes in the couch and cabinets damaged. Window blinds are all broken and windows get stuck. Only up side is the location”

“1. Kein Parkplatz. 2. Das Badezimmer wurde mit über sechs anderen Zimmern geteilt, was für meine älteren Eltern ungeeignet war und nicht der Beschreibung entsprach. 3. Weder die Unterkunft noch Expedia waren im Notfall erreichbar. 4. Meine E-Mail bezüglich Adresse und Parkplatz wurde erst einen Tag nach meiner Buchung beantwortet. 5. Ich musste eine alternative Unterkunft buchen.”
