“For a 5 star hotel breakfast was not on point. It was a hot plate option. Dog friendly hotel but that does not mean dogs should be on seats. This was like a 5 star butlins. This hotel lives on a name. ”

“It was terrible the reception was very abusive and right from the moment we checked in and the rooms were disgusting and for all of that they had the cheek to charge £110 per night. Never again if it wasn’t for every other hotel fully booked for bank holiday I would have walked straight back out. ”

“I just wanted a simple hotel to come back to after driving all day. No remote for tv, forgot to ask in the morning before leaving for my day trip. Got in late, managed to get Tv on and on a channel, but next night there was a Samsung update message that required the remote. then went for a shower…nearly got severe burns from the tankless water heater as it doesn’t seem to work properly (hot is cold, and apparently cold is hot and extremely dangerously hot. Nowhere to escape to as the shower is……

“Nice cafe / bar area. Comfy and the staff came round regularly to take orders. Breakfast was really good. Cooked to order. Staff very attentive. Room was nice. We had a ground floor room with an outdoor seating area although we don’t use it. Very light room, we had French doors and 2 windows in the bedroom.”
