“Delightful accommodation in a beautiful village pub. As a family of three, we stayed in the Superior Suite, Room 4. Our window view was a charming old church. Room/linen was spotless, towels were hotel quality, powerful shower, comfy beds, amazing cooked breakfast and kind hosts. No pub noise and we stayed on a Fri and Sat night. It's very quiet. Safe car parking right outside too. Dog friendly. Great location if visiting Cotswolds/Diddly Squat and The Farmer's Dog. Wish we could have stayed……

“The only concern I had was with the shower/bathtub combination. It is very difficult getting out, because the floor of the room is 6" lower than the bottom of the tub. And without anything to hold on to, I found it very dangerous.”

“The room itself was spacious and clean. The pub was great loads of drink selection and the staff were all friendly and super helpful. Our only negative was weather related. The fan in the room didn't help with the heat at all. We had to keep the window open to try and cool the room. On the Saturday it was fine, however on the Friday the noise went on until around 1am from the pub garden. If it wasn't so abnormally hot we could have closed the window and there would have been no bother. We……

“The hotel is situated in the beautiful village of Wroxton with many thatched properties. The staff, although mostly young people could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The full English breakfast was excellent, especially the sausages which I suspect may well have been sourced locally. I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel which was very good value for the lovely room we were allocated.”

“Could use a bit more out door lighting at night to not be in the pitch black and indicate an establishment is still there but otherwise was a very welcoming experience.”

“We stayed up on the first floor. Lovely old building with creaky stairs. Rooms were well equipped and comfortable. Bit of an issue with the water pipes which were very noisy (sounded like air in pipes). Had fans in rooms which were needed. Great choices for a cooked breakfast, which was cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.”
