We liked the location of the Avani. Rooftop bar and restaurants were quite good. Our two issues, although they appear insignificant, did matter. The property is in a very cool area of town but it’s a dated hotel with a mildew smell. The hotel classifies itself as luxury but I would give it 3 stars at best.
