The Perfect Apartment
If you are reading this review - BOOK THIS APARTMENT! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Maria and her apartment. Even before our arrival Maria was communicative and helpful. When we got there she took time to show us around the apartment, how to lock doors, and gave us advice on where my friend could find a dress for a wedding after the airline lost her bag. She also took care to meet when was best for us as we were leaving and was kind enough to call us a cab. The apartment itself is unreal. Spotless, roomy, comfortable beds, a gorgeous bathroom, and with the most perfect outdoor patio - it almost felt too good to be true. It is located in a great area near many bars and restaurants (but still so quiet at night) and a metro station. Also the perfect distance from a busy street that has many taxis around. If I ever returned to Barcelona I would seek out this apartment again to rent. A word of advice for Americans - if you stay in the summer you will be very warm. The air conditioning is only in the primary living space and does not really spread to the bedrooms. This was our last stop in Europe so we were prepared for it and somewhat adjusted to the heat, but do not expect to be super comfortable right away. Even still I would stay here again.

Lovely Apartment with Wonderful Terrace
Our family of 4 (kids 12,16) loved staying in this fabulous location--not right in the centre, but in a quieter but interesting area with plenty of cafes and 10 minute walk to popular Pinchos, Carrer Blai, 20 min walk to Pl Catalunya. Maria was very proactive and helpful. She contacted us ahead of our visit and gave us advice about getting to the apartment. She was waiting for us outside at midnight and waived our late fee since it was outside of our control. Maria then explained everything about getting into the building, using the small lift and all the features of the apartment, including the TV, coffee machine and a box of Horchata to try. Maria also gave us a mini Metro map and explained where to go. During the stay, we also contacted Maria on What's App for recommendations for food and pools and took the time to provide useful tips and called us a taxi at the end and waited for us to get in. The apartment was spacious and nicely decorated with everything we needed. Our favourite part was the plant-filled terrace, where we could eat and drink at the long table in comfortable chairs, looking out at a spectacular view of the neighbourhood street and high rise buildings, making us feel like we were living in Barcelona for a bit, rather than just visiting. Also handy to have a washing machine and washing line. Our only disappointment is that is was too hot at night in bedrooms; the AC was only in the kitchen. But we had a great time and were grateful for Maria's help.

Wonderful Apartment
We had the best stay at this cozy and comfortable 3 bedroom and 1 bath apartment. It was located just 3 minutes walk from the subway and close to many restaurants and a few markets. There is also a coffee shop right downstairs. Our host Maria was waiting for us right when we arrived, gave a detailed description of the apt amenities, had some drinks and snacks for us and arranged a taxi for us to the train station on our departure date. The apt is well stocked with everything we needed.It was a small but very comfortable apt and we enjoyed our stay.

The Perfect Place
We (myself, spouse, and children 18 and 14 years old) found this apartment to be perfect for our 3 night stay in Barcelona in mid-July 2024. It is spacious and the neighborhood is great. We at some amazing food within a 5 minute walk from the apartment and the nearby metro stations made it easy to get anywhere in the city. The beds were comfortable and the check in/check out process was easy thanks to Maria J.

Lovely spot with great amenities
This is a well-situated flat in Poblé Sec within 20min walking distance of most popular areas. Two close Metro stations close the gap to the rest of Barcelona. The flat was recently renovated, and is well-maintained and appointed. The large terrace catches the afternoon sun and is perfect for evening relaxation.

Beautiful apartment -great location
We enjoyed staying in Maria appointment every minute of it. We have everything we need. You can relax in terrace after busy day. We stayed two days after our cruise disembarked in Barcelona. The apartment was beautiful and in a nice area with lots of places to eat and get coffee and pastries. Maria was so helpful and made our trip to the airport so easy. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Barcelona.

It was wonderful
There was good communication with the host and we did not experience any issues with the Apartment. She was very clear that we were not to use the front room which I noticed someone else complained about but those were the expectations and we followed them because there were only two of us using two of the three bedrooms. Having a lift was wonderful (especially after the current place I am staying in did not and had the same number of floors and we had to carry up our bags ourselves). The location was great. Our only issue, and it was not with the apartment or host, was that we often had difficulty obtaining Ubers that would give an accurate time to pick up and not cancel. If you can learn to use the train or bus system that would be a much better option.

We loved the area as well as the large patio. We did find the neighbors to be noisy. The place was cozy and the beds were comfortable. The 2 locks on the door were difficult to figure out. Finally the owners sister had to come and help me!

The property was conveniently located and very close to a Metro stop (Poble Sec). It was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. The host was very accommodating, allowing us to check in early. She even arranged a taxi for us to go to the airport at the end of our stay. The outdoor patio was a real plus.

Exactly what we wanted
Our penthouse was quiet, clean, and centrally located so that we could easily get around Barcelona, as well as take the aerobus from the airport upon our arrival with an easy 15-min. walk. The apartment was well-equipped for cooking. Maria was wonderful and very helpful. We used Google Translate and our grandson as needed. She worked with us and gave us great guidance. We'd stay here again!

My mom and I and my two daughters, ages 8 and 11 stayed here for three nights in March. We loved the accommodations, access to the metro, and the lovely patio - great for gazing but also great for hanging clothes to dry if you need to laundry (we did!). My daughter loved the cute kid’s bedroom with games and books and claimed it immediately. Maria was attentive and prompt to respond to inquiries but not intrusive. She had great recommendations and arranged a taxi to the airport for us. We only wished we’d had more time! This was by far the best VRBO and the best host of the three houses we stayed in on our trip to Europe. We’d stay here again!

Incredible accommodations in a great neighborhood
We loved our stay here. The Sant Antoni neighborhood has everything our family needed during our stay steps awsy (central market, restaurants, shopping) and downtown Barcelona is easily reached via the metro. María Jesús really went out of her way to make us feel comfortable, check in was easy and she was really responsive to questions and offered lots of suggestions for places to see and eat. We are hoping to return soon. P.S. One small suggestion is to add an orange juicing machine, everything else in the kitchen was great for our stay.

Great location
The apartment had everything we needed during the stay. The highlight of the apartment is the large outdoor space. The check-in and check-out process was not as easy as other places we have stayed. We would have preferred a lockbox or being able to leave the keys on the table rather than having to arrange a meeting with the host.
