Everything was really walkable. 30min walk away from the train station, it almost put me off, but Bologna is a really good city to walk with suitcases (we got a huge suitcase and a small one). The B&B was in a quiet location. The host that received us was super helpful, giving us all his favourites food spots. There is not in-front desk so if you are not there at 3pm for the check in. "This is the perfect location for a trip to explore Bologna! It is one block off of Piazza Maggiore and you can walk to most of the sites you’ll want to see. There is plenty of dining and shopping in the area. It isn’t a quiet part of town and if you are a light sleeper I recommend bringing ear plugs.
