"Wonderful space for our work retreat! Very clean and management was very attentive and quick to respond to messages. Would have given 5 stars except that vrbo automatically changed our 2 night reservation to the 3 night minimum. "

"This is my favorite place to stay in the Rice Lake area. It is a charming lodge tucked away in a quiet spot right on the lake. Expect beautiful vistas year round. Each room is designed uniquely, several are pet friendly. Each has a view of and access to the lake. The staff/owners are friendly and accommodating. There are complementary non-motorized water activities in the summer and nightly campfires. Breakfast is fruit and a locally baked scone. There is nothing hotel-chain about this place. "
