Very louisiana themed. Paul was great. I never needed him for anything because the place was perfect, but he did let me know from the beginning that he was available if we needed anything. The owner made check-in and check-out super easy. We were delighted to find bottled water in the fridge, full ice trays, a fully stocked coffee station, and plenty of towels and toiletries in the bathroom. The A/C worked great and the bed was super comfy. We walked to Pastime, the oldest bar in Baton Rouge, and enjoyed the local atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again! The location was great - quick to get to campus, etc., and Paul was fantastic - very responsive and friendly. Check in was super easy. The complex is undergoing some updating but it was not any trouble. The unit itself is spacious and well stocked for a weekend stay. It was clean and comfortable for this time of year. It could benefit from some fresh paint and the furniture is worn but comfortable. There are AC units in the front and in the bedroom - they are loud but were functional during our stay. This property was very clean, comfortable, quiet, and very close to my new job. I am in the process of relocating and stayed here during the week while I was working. It is only a couple of minutes from several different restaurants, downtown attractions, and is really easy to get to. It's also very close to LSU. It's right off of interstate 10\.
