"Location was excellent. The cliff railway is unique. We’re were visiting the Kinver edge rock house National trust, it was only 9 miles away which was good. Nice pub restaurants close by. Breakfast at the hotel was really nice. You place your order the night before and it is cooked fresh just for you. Lovely "

"Chris and Val are excellent and friendly hosts and can provide you with a plethora of local information on places to visit and eat at. It was a pleasure to be able to stay with such a nice couple. The only thing to note is the Shower Room is a little tight but, you do not stay in the Shower Room and this should not put you off staying. Once again, thank you to Chris and Val especially for the excellent and plentifull breakfasts and scones. "

Breakfast included in the price was outstanding and we even ate at the smokehouse for dinner, which was very tasty. Nice view of the river out the room window. Only downside was the low beams and ceilings around the rooms but only an issue as I’m quite tall."

"Met up with a friend at this delightful guest house. Louise is an excellent host and was very informative about the area and where to visit. "We was meant to stay here I booked a room with double & 2 singles, when I got the confirmation it stated 1 double 1 sofa bed the property made the mistake, after calling hotels.com to try to resolve I got nowhere, so I had no choice but to book another property. After booking another property I then get a call from this property saying they made a mistake. Hotels.com wouldn’t refund me. So I asked the property to refund me which was short by £20 odd pounds. So overall not a good experience "
