“The cottage was one of the best stays we have ever experienced. The property is very clean, in terrific condition and very rustic. I highly recommend and congratulate the owner for their hard work on this. The only thing that people should be aware of is that the country road leading to the property is quite rough so careful driving around the potholes is required. However, this should not detract from people visiting this lovely cottage. ”

“Cosy, well-decorated, full of thoughtful touches like local gingerbread to have with your brews. Really wonderful place to escape to. As the property runs on solars/generator in winter we had an issue with a power outage one evening when the generator didn't kick in properly, but we had somebody on-site to fix it and back up within half an hour.”

“We were luck enough to have an earlier check in and the check in was easy and everything ready for us on our arrival. We had ordered a breakfast hamper of local produce and all was ready in the hut. The hut was bigger than it looks and plenty big enough for 2 adults and 2 small dogs. Everything you could think of was in the hut. We didn’t use the underfloor heating or the log burner as the hut was really warm without it. The hot tub was amazing and was so easy to use by ourselves. Doesn’t take……

“Lovely little cabin in the owners grounds, right next to the river. If you’re looking for peace and quiet then it’s perfect, Oswestry is only 15 minutes drive away. Cabin has everything we needed for the 2 nights we stayed. Very easy self check in/out good communication with the owners.”

“Great location in the middle of the countryside. Perfect for one or two adults (3-4 might be a squeeze but you'd be fine with little ones). Heather, the host was great, and provided pro-active communication. Wood fired hot-tub was a novelty but worked great. Would highly recommend.”

“Excellent stay. Trevor met us when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. The hut was super cosy and amazingly clean. We had everything we needed for an offthe beaten track stay. Trevor even booked a table at a local pub and arranged a bottle of fizz for us at my request for my other halfs birthday. The surroundings and views were beautiful and there were great walks in the area too. We felt very secluded and private.”
