“Lovely clean property with ac in rooms and great restaurant next door”

“Very nice room and a comfortable bed . Everything we needed for our stay. Very friendly staff, great food and lovely area. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. ”

“Olde World quaint pub, large room with very comfortable bed and quality linen. Very old building so floor was very up and down, which added to the charm. Toilet used a macerator which had a mind of its own and set off randomly as you moved around, and was noisy. Cistern on toilet took an absolute age to refill, but none of this would stop us staying again. No staff around in the morning to tell about these problems?”

“Good parking facilities. Hotel is right in town which is a real bonus. Staff were helpful and friendly. We did not have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that. We went instead to a very charming cafe just for a change. Unfortunately the down side of the hotel are the rooms. We had a twin room, nice view and large. However the decor was very tired and frankly grubby. The bathroom was ok but if you tried turning round in the bath whilst having a shower you could, and I did, crack your……

“Stayed two nights 26/27 March. The de luxe double was an excellent room very comfortable bed had a really good night sleep. Bath in the bathroom a positive. Breakfast on first day a full english really well cooked next day on the Saturday had eggs royale really good.”

“This is my second stay here after an overnight stay last June. I aim to book here whenever I can going forward as it was as good if not better which was a high bar to begin with. Parking is really convenient. It was a great room with lovely air-conditioning which was required for such a warm, April day. I had a great workout in the well-equipped gym.
