However, the room itself was absolutely sweltering and could've done with a fan or a portable air conditioning unit. I had to open both the windows wide to let some cool air in.....which unfortunately let the screaming and shouting from outside in too. But hey, I've booked something in the heart of student land so that's sort of on me as well! Unfortunately the hygiene levels of the apartment were awful as the place clearly hasn't been cleaned for a while nor between guest's stays. The kitchen was filthy along with all utensils and cutlery, plates etc... There were old sweets left on the sofa and between cushions. Dust everywhere. The 2nd bed was very uncomfortable. The studio was as advertised and the sofa bed was made up for our kids. The room had everything we needed, everything worked and the location you can’t beat (for Clifton village). Yes, parking can be a bit tricky here but we know the area and you can always find street parking for a fee. "Staff couldnt have done enough to help. Room was very clean, facilities included a bath/shower which was a pleasant surprise. After a day of travelling it was a nice treat. Ideal location for the activities planned."

"My father and I were catching up and decided to visit Bath. Alex hotel is in a perfect location for sightseeing. Room had 2 king size beds, shower and bath had plenty of hot water, daily housekeeping, hearty breakfast. The pool needs a clock! Overall 9/10"
